Hello, my name is Jon.

Hello, my name is Jon.  I'm the 2nd half of this operation.  If there are three things I know, they are fashion, fishing, and freedom.  I know a lot more than that but that is beside the point.  I'm here to shed some expertise for manly men in need of a few fashion pointers.  I want to start off with one of the most important fashion innovations of the 20th century...Cargo Shorts
Cargo shorts are both economical and functional.  Manly men should always go for function over fashion.  The more pockets the better.  Look at all the stuff I can hold in these bad boys!  The ladies love it because they can leave their purse at home and fill my cargo pockets up like a chipmunk in October.
I would recommend getting pockets with buttons or snaps, just in case you feel the need to exhibit your God given freedom by jumping for joy.
Speaking of buttons, if your main button ever falls off, fear not!  Just tighten the old belt one notch tighter and you'll enter the day feeling like a million buck$ (suspenders will work in a pinch, just do your best to avoid the hipster look).  Now don't I look like a confident fellow?
I know many readers will likely inquire where to purchase these. Good news and bad news. Start with bad news: I purchased these about 20 fashion seasons ago. Good news (other than that they are long-lasting): the boutique that I purchased them at is still in business. JCPenney's. It is likely you can find one in between Seattle and Nashville. They may even still have similar styles.

I hope I've inspired some men to get over their preconceptions of cargo shorts and take the plunge.  Until next time...
